Sunday School
Sunday School is an opportunity for people of all ages to participate in age appropriate lessons from the Bible. All ages, including adults, study the same lesson at an age-appropriate level, which promotes conversation about the lesson with the whole family after church. We are very pleased to utilize Answers in Genesis for our curriculum. Classes for all ages, children up to adults. Please join us at 10 AM on Sundays.
Sunday Services
On Sunday mornings at 11 AM we have a traditional worship service in the church auditorium. These services typically include singing hymns, a choir, corporate prayer, an offering, a sermon, and sometimes special music. On Sunday evening at 6:30 PM we have a less formal worship service which includes singing hymns, an offering, and a sermon. We would welcome you to join us for our Sunday worship services.
Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting and Bible Study
On Wednesday evenings at 7 PM we have an old fashioned prayer meeting where we take prayer requests and praises from attendees and devote time to pray corporately for these requests. We believe that scripture teaches us to bear one another's burdens, so we also commit to private personal prayer time for these requests throughout the week. The prayer meeting is followed by a Bible Study lead by our Pastor. We welcome you to join us on Wednesdays for prayer meeting and Bible study.
Missionaries Across the Globe
We are quite pleased to call ourselves a mission-minded church. Our church believes the Great Commission to be not only for here but also abroad. For this reason, we support several missionaries financially and with prayer. Our church prioritizes missionaries across the globe and devotes approximately 20% of our annual budget to their financial support. For the safety of our missionaries, their names are not posted online.
Vacation Bible School
Our biggest annual community outreach ministry is Vacation Bible School. During VBS we open up the church for an entire week of nightly fun, fellowship, and Bible lessons. Our church has classes for all ages including adults. VBS includes class time, recreation, snacks, singing, missions moments, and more. This is all commenced on Friday night with a program put on by our children's classes and an ice cream social.
Youth Group
Meeting on select Fridays, our youth group offers a fun, Christian environment for any youth age 10+ to meet under adult supervision for games, snacks, devotions, Bible lessons, fun, and fellowship. There is no cost to attend and we welcome your kids to join us. Reach out to us and ask for Julia Kendrick for more information!
Choir
The choir is composed of church members of all ages who desire to sing hymns and spiritual songs for the glory of God. The church choir practices on Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM and sings during the Sunday Morning service as well as select special services and holiday events. Any member is welcome to join the choir.
Fellowship Opportunities
Throughout the year, the church has several events to fellowship one with another as a church family. This often includes a variety of dinners and occasional outings. There is an annual Homecoming picnic, Christmas dinner, and a plethora of additional gatherings throughout the year. This provides a fun and safe environment to get to know the people who worship alongside you during the week.
Miscellaneous Additional Opportunities to Serve
Being a small church, we generally do not outsource the regular maintenance and upkeep of the church building and property. We all chip in to help clean the church, mow the grass, and maintain the building. There are a wide array of additional ways to serve. Your talents can be utilized for the Lord's service here.
Men's and Women's Discipleship Meetings
While our men's and women's discipleship meeting are not a formal ministry of the church, we are believers that discipleship is a major role of the church and therefore we encourage the men and the women of the church to find times to meet on their own for fellowship, discipleship, and edification.
